Broncos

The Broncos traded for QB Zach Wilson in the offseason to strengthen their quarterback room with Jarrett Stidham and first-rounder Bo Nix. Wilson welcomes the competition for the starting job and looks forward to a fresh start in Denver.

“Competition brings out the best in everyone,” Wilson said, as reported by Jon Heath of the Broncos Wire. “I appreciate the opportunity to compete and I believe it motivates everyone to perform at their best.”

“While I am grateful for my past experiences, I am excited about the new challenge ahead in Denver. A fresh start is always rejuvenating, and I am eager to tackle the obstacles that come with it.”

Raiders

Raiders Offensive Line Coach James Cregg expressed satisfaction with the performance of OL Dylan Parham at right guard, despite playing as a center last season.

“Watching him play, especially with our wide zone strategy, he is more comfortable and natural in the right guard position, even as a former center,” Cregg stated in an interview with RaidersWire. “His footwork and overall gameplay improve in that role, which led us to relocate him to that position.”

Cregg also praised OT Thayer Munford for his impressive display at right tackle last season.

“Watching him play towards the end of last season, his athletic ability stood out, and he has been a great fit at right tackle. With more room for growth and development, he continues to enhance his performance and adapt to the position,” Cregg mentioned.

Texans

Texans General Manager Nick Caserio lauded Head Coach DeMeco Ryans as one of the top coaches in football and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside him.

I can’t praise him enough,” Caserio stated in an interview with Texans Wire. “His ability to unite people and infuse energy into the team’s environment has been valuable to our organization.

Additionally, Caserio commended Ryans’ talent acquisition and player development skills, particularly in the linebacker position, citing examples from his time in San Francisco.

Ryans has been instrumental in the growth of players like Fred Warner, Dre Greenlaw, and Azeez Al-Shaair. His defensive strategies in San Francisco reflect his ability to energize the team and play with intensity,” Caserio added.
