The Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) are back on the road for a big Week 14 Sunday Night Football matchup against their NFC East divisional rival, the Dallas Cowboys (9-3).
Coming off a big loss the 49ers, the Eagles lead for the division dropped a bit, and the Cowboys are now very much in the fight. Philly’s loss to San Francisco still looks bad, but they were able to score more points in their demise than the Cowboys did against the 49ers earlier in the season.
The Eagles have more than a few things to clean up, and while they’ve found ways to win this season, they’ve played from behind a lot. As we get further into the December slate of games, the playoff picture is starting to take shape, and this is the time when teams need to be playing their best football… not their worst.
Philly is getting Dallas Goedert back this week, which should help open things up down field for Jalen Hurts, and get A.J. Brown a little more leverage over defenses. The team also looks to have a full cohort of defensive lineman which should allow for some fresher legs for a group of guys who have played a lot of snaps the past two weeks.
The Cowboys are trending upward at a moment of critical self-reflection for the Eagles, so it’ll be a very telling game about where the two teams are heading into the postseason. The Eagles still have all the pieces they need to be successful, but last week’s game highlighted issues they’ll need to address down the stretch.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
