During the offseason, teams are making changes to their coaching staff. The Falcons recently made several moves, as reported by ESPN’s Michael Rothstein. The staff is coming together under new head coach Raheem Morris.
On offense, two assistants from last year’s staff under Arthur Smith will be retained. Assistant offensive line coach Shawn Flaherty and offensive assistant Patrick Kramer will continue in their roles. Additionally, former NFL defensive end Jacquies Smith has been named the new outside linebackers coach.
In the front office, John Griffin has been named director of player performance and Rob Dadona as manager of coaching operations. Griffin joins the team from the Rams, while Dadona replaces Brian Griffin and previously worked with the Jets.
Elsewhere in the NFC, the Vikings added assistant offensive line coach Shaun Sarrett and assistant to the head coach Henry Schneider IV. The Cowboys welcomed Cristian Garcia from Washington as a defensive quality control coach, and Washington added John Glenn as their new assistant special teams coach.
