Is your fantasy football kicker going into a bye week? Or are you one of the many people who roster a different kicker each week based on matchups? Then you’re in luck. Each week of the 2023 NFL season, BetFTW is bringing you a ranking of top kicker streamers to hopefully give you that edge you need in your next matchup. Kickers aren’t the most important position in a fantasy lineup, but they can absolutely make or break a game. So, you want to make sure you have a good one. Here’s a look at the top options on waiver wires this week.
- Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks (vs. Philadelphia Eagles) Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports Myers’ placement atop this list is completely contingent on Geno Smith being healthy enough to start against a weak Eagles pass defense. While I believe Myers could still have a good game if Drew Lock gets the nod, I wouldn’t put my trust in Lock during the fantasy playoffs.
- Matt Gay, Indianapolis Colts (vs. Pittsburgh Steelers) Andy Lyons/Getty Images Gay was a complete letdown last week, netting negative fantasy points, but if we trust the larger sample size of the entire season, he’s a good bet to bounce back against a Steelers defense torched by Bailey Zappe last week.
- Lucas Havrisik, Los Angeles Rams (vs. Washington Commanders) Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports The Rams are my pick to score the NFL’s most points Sunday, so whether it comes on extra points or field goals, Havrisik should be working with a safe floor — and potential for a monster scoring output.
- Cairo Santos, Chicago Bears (at Cleveland Browns) AP Photo/Nam Y. Huh I don’t expect the Bears to move the ball on Cleveland the same way they did on Detroit two of their last three games. But that just means fewer touchdowns and hopefully just as many field goal attempts for Santos.
- Joey Slye, Washington Commanders (at Los Angeles Rams) AP Photo/Daniel Kucin Jr. Earlier, I mentioned how I expect the Rams to score a lot. That means the Commanders will be playing catch-up, and it’s not like LA has the greatest defense either. So I expect Slye to be a big part of that response.
