Terrion Arnold has officially signed his rookie contract with the Detroit Lions, as announced by the team on Thursday. With this signing, the entire draft class is now under contract.
Detroit identified cornerback as a key position of need in the offseason. They addressed this by acquiring Carlton Davis through a trade and signing Amik Robertson. After parting ways with Cameron Sutton due to off-field issues, the Lions had room to invest in draft picks.
In the 2024 draft, the Lions made a move on Day 1 by trading with the Cowboys to select Arnold at No. 24, preventing division rivals from scooping him up. Arnold had a standout career at Alabama, excelling in coverage and ball production.
In his final collegiate season, Arnold led the SEC in interceptions and earned All-Conference and All-American honors. He will join forces with Ennis Rakestraw Jr., another cornerback added in the second round, to compete for a starting spot in a revamped Lions secondary.
The Lions’ full draft class breakdown is as follows:

- Round 2, No. 61: Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (CB, Missouri) (signed)
