It seems intentional at this point.
That’s five straight losing picks after going undefeated through the first 10 weeks. I feel like whatever the reverse version of the 2021 Miami Dolphins is. Remember when they lost seven straight games before winning seven straight to almost get into the playoffs? Anyway, I promise this isn’t intentional. How could I know the Atlanta Falcons would lose to the one-win Carolina Panthers? You know what, don’t answer that. Also, let’s pick against the Panthers again. Before we get to Week 16, here’s a look at where things stand:
Record: 10-5
Already used: Ravens, Bills, Chiefs, 49ers, Dolphins, Rams, Seahawks, Chargers, Saints, Cowboys, Commanders (L), Lions (L), Jaguars (L), Texans (L), Falcons (L)
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports The Rams have won four of their last five games, and they’re looking more and more like a legitimate playoff threat with each game.
The Saints are a nice test for them to keep that up against. David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports The Raiders are probably feeling good about themselves right now after putting up 60-plus points in their last game. Nothing to humble a team that’s not actually good like a trip to Kansas City.
The bad news is the Eagles have lost three straight games. The good news is they play the Giants next, a team that finally fell back to earth last week in a loss to the New Orleans Saints. Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports The Bills are rounding into one of the AFC’s best teams just in time to play a Chargers team fresh off of giving up 63 points to the Raiders. This could get ugly.
The Packers are far from a finished product, but they’re a much more serious operation than the Atlanta Falcons. So I expect them to at least show up in Carolina and win a game they desperately need to keep up in the playoff race.
