The Jets recently announced some changes in their personnel department in August. According to the team’s website, Jon Carr and Greg Nejmeh have been named co-directors of player personnel, while Dan Zbojovsky will now be the team’s senior director of football operations.
Carr, with 18 years of NFL experience, has been with the Jets for seven seasons. He has been in charge of college scouting and recently took on oversight of the pro personnel department. Nejmeh, who started as a scouting intern in 2009, has been with the team for 16 years and has managed pro personnel operations and free agency, as well as assisting with college scouting. Both Carr and Nejmeh work closely with general manager Joe Douglas.
Zbojovsky, also an 18-year NFL veteran, will oversee various departments in his new role, including the athletic training staff, medical staff, and player development, among others.
Other recent staff moves in the NFL include promotions within the Jets’ front office, such as Jay Mandolesi becoming director of college scouting, Nick Sabella being promoted to senior director of football administration, and David Socie becoming senior director of football strategy. Additionally, Jonathan Stigall has been appointed national scout, Christina Wedding has been promoted to director of personnel operations, and Evan Ardoin has been named co-assistant director of pro personnel alongside Kevin Murphy.
Also, the Rams recently announced the addition of former head coach Scott Frost to their coaching staff as a senior football analyst, where he will contribute to special teams, offense, and defense.
