You’ve probably heard a bunch about how there’s only two elite teams in the NFL and a bunch of other teams ranging from average to good, and I’m not going to say anything to dispel that narrative. The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers appear to be head and shoulders above the rest of the NFL, and their Super Bowl odds reflect the belief that one of those two teams will end up hoisting the Lombardi trophy. Still, that doesn’t mean they can’t be beaten by the right team at the right time under the right circumstances. That’s why they play the games, right? Below is a look at BetMGM odds for each of the 14 playoff teams to win the Super Bowl.
As the biggest underdogs of wild card weekend, the Steelers aren’t expected to get very far this postseason.
The Packers have a tough first-round game against Dallas, but if they can go on the road and win that one, look out.
I don’t see Tampa going very far, but there’s a better than decent shot the Bucs can knock of the struggling Eagles.
I wouldn’t sleep on the Rams, whose best players are holdovers from the Super Bowl winning team of a couple years ago.
Houston might be the Cinderella story of these playoffs, and I can’t wait to see how far they can go.
Cleveland is a small road favorite over Houston in the first round, so this placement exactly one spot ahead makes complete sense.
Is this the year the Lions make a deep playoff run? The odds certainly give them a good shot.
The Dolphins aren’t exactly going into the playoffs playing their best football, but if they can get past the Chiefs in the first round then anything is possible.
I don’t love the Eagles as much as oddsmakers, but I guess this is the kind of respect you get for being a defending conference champion.
The same thing I said about the Eagles applies to Kansas City, though I do like the Chiefs a little more. Plus they have that guy Patrick Mahomes, who can never be counted out.
This might be Dallas’ best shot to finally get over the postseason hump and reach the big game. Do you believe?
The Bills are the most fascinating team in these playoffs, because they have the talent to go all the way but also feel like they could implode at any moment.
The Ravens are only second because of a tougher conference, but it’s not like they have to play all of the best teams. These odds are a steal relative to the No. 1 spot.
San Fran has help top Super Bowl odds for a long time now, and that continues into wild card weekend where they’ll be looking on to see who they meet in the divisional round.
