Potential NFL Teams for Ex-Jets Running Back Dalvin Cook, with the Cowboys Among Them

The New York Jets are reportedly releasing veteran running back Dalvin Cook this week to give him a chance to play for a playoff contender. Cook signed with the Jets to be a part of an offense led by Aaron Rodgers, but Rodgers’ season-ending injury changed the team’s trajectory. As a result, Cook fell behind in the running back rotation and had limited usage, only recording 67 carries for 214 yards and 15 catches for 78 yards.

It is anticipated that there will be a number of NFL teams interested in adding Cook to their roster for a potential Super Bowl push this month. Four-time Pro Bowl RB Dalvin Cook and the #Jets have mutually agreed to part ways, allowing Cook the opportunity to play for a playoff team, per his agency @LAASportsEnt.

Several teams are being suggested as potential landing spots for Cook, including the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns.

The Cowboys, in particular, could benefit from Cook’s veteran presence at the running back position to bolster their postseason chances. The Ravens, Dolphins, Chiefs, and Browns could also benefit from adding Cook to their roster for the playoffs.
