Nick Castellanos hit a home run and drove in five runs, while Zack Wheeler pitched seven strong innings for the Philadelphia Phillies as they defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 12-1 to even the series.

Bryce Harper had a great game, going 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs, and Kyle Schwarber had two doubles and scored three runs. The Phillies bounced back from a previous loss to secure their 50th win.

Wheeler had an outstanding performance, allowing only one run on two hits and striking out eight batters without issuing a walk. Arizona’s only run came from Tucker Barnhart’s single in the fifth inning.

Gregory Soto and Jose Ruiz also contributed with perfect relief innings for Philadelphia as they prevented Arizona from reaching a .500 record.

The Phillies hit four home runs, doubling the number of hits by the Diamondbacks. Their first two homers came in the third inning, with Harper and Bohm both hitting long balls.

Schwarber added to the lead with a double in the fourth inning, and Castellanos extended it further with a two-run homer in the fifth. Castellanos later drove in two more runs with a single in the sixth inning.

This victory helped the Phillies avoid a third consecutive loss and ended their losing streak against the Diamondbacks, who had defeated them in the previous National League Championship Series.
