One of the best receivers in the NFL will be on display when A.J. Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles host the New York Giants on Monday, December 25, 2023.
The Eagles were defeated by the Seattle Seahawks 20-17 in their last outing. Their last time out, the Giants lost 24-6 to the New Orleans Saints. In that matchup with the Seahawks, Jalen Hurts had 143 yards on 17-of-31 passing (54.8%) for the Eagles, with no touchdowns and two interceptions. He also carried the ball 13 times for 82 yards and two rushing touchdowns. D’Andre Swift carried the ball 18 times for 74 yards (4.1 yards per carry). He added two receptions for one yard. Brown led the receiving charge against the Seahawks, catching five passes for 56 yards. Tommy DeVito threw for 177 yards for the G-Men against the Saints, going 20-for-34 (58.8%) with no touchdowns and no interceptions. He added four carries for 36 yards. Saquon Barkley carried the ball nine times for 14 yards (1.6 yards per attempt). In the passing game, he added two catches for 23 yards. Darius Slayton had 63 yards through the air after four catches (on eight targets).
