Eagles Fans Mock Cowboys Following Another Playoff Collapse: ‘Pure Magic!’
For the 29th straight year, the Dallas Cowboys will not be heading to the NFC Championship game, or Super Bowl for that matter, after falling to the No. 7-seeded Green Bay Packers 48-32 at home on Sunday afternoon.
This now marks the third straight season Dallas has failed to reach the conference title game despite winning at least 12 regular season games, the first team ever to do so.
Speaking of firsts, the Cowboys – previous winners of 16 straight home contests – were the first two seed in the current NFL Playoff format to lose to a seventh seed after being blitzed by a young and inexperienced Packers squad.
Arguably no city had more fun reveling in another tortured end to the season than Philadelphia.
Throughout Sunday’s playoff debacle, fans and reporters for the Philadelphia Eagles made sure to note that while the Birds may be walking into their playoff game hobbled, there’s always room to revel in another Cowboys playoff loss.
The only thing we (likely) won’t get from this latest embarrassing Cowboys loss is a hilarious end-of-game moment, like the ill-fated designed Dak run/spike attempt in 2021, and Zeke playing center last year.

Nothing restores faith in Eagles fans more than a hilarious Cowboys loss. pic.com/BoqU6O6Qi4

Kudos to the person setting off fireworks for the Cowboys playoff loss. Not all heroes wear capes.

The Eagles could lose 100-0 tomorrow.
It still wouldn’t ruin the vibe of the Cowboys getting SPANKED as a No. 2 seed at home against the Packers after the NFL rigged their game against the Lions to give them that seed.
Truly magical.

Of course, when it comes to laughing at the Cowboys’ sorrows, no one does it quite better than ESPN Host, Stephen A. Smith.

As fun as watching the Cowboys losing in the playoffs certainly was for many in Philadelphia, the Eagles have their own playoff game to play in about 12 hours.
If people thought the city celebrated too much for another team’s playoff doom, one can only imagine how they’d react going further than Dallas for another season.
Of course, ending a five-of-six-game slide will be pretty hard to do as well.
