Demarcus Robinson has become a key auxiliary pass catcher for the Rams and has earned a second contract with the team. The former Chiefs player has reached a deal to remain with the Rams, as announced on Friday.
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Robinson has agreed to a one-year, $5MM deal to remain in Los Angeles. He will continue to work with the likes of Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp in the 2024 season after proving himself as a valuable asset in the passing attack.
Robinson initially didn’t see much action in the first half of the season but eventually became a crucial part of the Rams’ push towards the playoffs. Despite starting slow, he finished the season strong with impressive performances in key games.
His overall stats for the season included 26 receptions for 371 yards and four touchdowns. He developed a good connection with Matthew Stafford and played a significant role in the offense, displacing other players in the process.
Having secured a contract extension, Robinson is set to continue his career with the Rams alongside familiar faces from the previous season. His previous success with the Chiefs and other teams has solidified his position as a reliable wide receiver in the league.
With Robinson back on the team, the Rams are unlikely to make big moves in the receiver position during the offseason, signaling stability and continuity in their roster.
