With a 26-game lead above .500, Philadelphia aims to maintain their winning streak even with Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and J.T. Realmuto sidelined.

Harper and Schwarber were placed on the 10-day injured list due to hamstring and groin strains, respectively, while Realmuto underwent knee surgery on June 12.

The injured players are expected to return before the All-Star break or by late July.

Despite concerns about the offense’s performance without these key players, the Phillies managed to secure a comeback victory against the Miami Marlins on Sunday.

Trea Turner’s two-run single in the seventh inning sealed the win for the team.

Nick Castellanos also contributed with a 4-for-5 performance and three RBIs.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson praised the team’s resilience and emphasized their ability to score runs even without the sidelined players.

On the other side, the Cubs have struggled in their recent games, losing six out of the last eight and currently sitting at the bottom of the National League Central division.

Chicago suffered a 7-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, falling further behind in the division standings.
