49ers
49ers QB Brock Purdy has been the subject of discussion as the team struggles to win the Super Bowl. Despite criticism, LB Fred Warner has full confidence in Purdy and believes he will lead them to success.
“People need to remember he’s only entering Year 3,” Warner said, via the Candlestick Chronicles podcast. “But his leadership and presence make it seem like he’s been in the league longer. It’s been impressive to see his growth and maturity as a leader in our locker room, and on the field. He’s earned it with his hard work and performance, especially in critical moments.”
“He’s gained valuable experience in just two years, and his potential is limitless. He has already played at an MVP level, and when the time comes, he will be the key to our Super Bowl hopes.”
Cardinals
The Cardinals have high expectations for first-round WR Marvin Harrison Jr. in his rookie season. Arizona WR Michael Wilson praised Harrison’s quick grasp of the playbook and expressed his ambition to reach Harrison’s level.
“He’s been diligent in learning the playbook and is always seeking knowledge. He’s very self-aware,” Wilson said, as reported by Grant Gordon of NFL.com. “Whether he’s here or not, my role remains the same – to be the best player I can be, catch the ball, and reach my full potential.”
“I believe in myself and aspire to be among the best receivers in the NFL. Just like I speak highly of Marvin, I aim to be in that same category. My goal is to elevate from a good receiver to a great one.”
Rams
Rams NT Bobby Brown expressed his excitement about getting more opportunities to rush the passer in the team’s system.
“While I’ve been known as a run-stopper since college, I did have five sacks in my final year,” Brown said, as reported by Rams Wire. “Since joining the Rams, I haven’t had many opportunities to rush the passer on third downs. It’s a new challenge for me, but I’m enjoying the chance to showcase my skills in a different role.”
